So many reasons

*so many reasons*
There are so many reasons
To despise each and every season
Summer bakes you hot
Spring has no sense or reason
Autumn chills my blood
And Winter is full of snot and mud
Most of all of course
Every season is full of people
Yapping squealing greedy ugly people
Devoid of grace or manners
Ready to show allegiance to wildest banners
Every slogan of madness followed
Or the politician's promises most hollow
No more sense than a kelpie
Who cannot help but chase the postie
And how they squander everything
Water land time and friends
These people without restraints
These people all sinners never saints
Everyone thinking they are better
More significant than ever
Merely another triumphant ant
Upon this ant hill grand-standing
Waiting for the brushing crushing shoe
The end of all they will ever know
And every season there are more
Shrill mediocre intellectually poor
At the edge of my sanity clawing
Full of bravado insubstantial
And mortal actions inconsequential
From year start to year end
In every year my presence they offend
Squabbling stinking and puerile
Less aware than the most juvenile
Unaware that all they have and ever be
Is always four depised seasons long
and then total oblivion and obscurity.
