Blossom from Other Earth

+Blossom, from Other Earth+
Hey Blossom I dreamt again of old day Earth
The planet from which we were birthed
A single sun hung in the sky
A moon revolved and pulled tides
The seas there alive with life
No need for purifiers for the water
No need to wear the rad block out cream
A perfect place in perfect position
Far enough from Sun for perfect climate
No need to spend half the year in shelters
And when on surface body doesn't constant swelter
Fruit in colours like the discs show
And I saw snow and icebergs
Was then a great and tranquil place
This birth planet of human race
And we who have been cast to here
For our crimes Earth will not bear
An escape valve for decaying world
And now they say our world is better than theirs
As Earth's atmosphere strains to hold effulent
Of the fortunate 2% affluent
The water there is processed now
And seas empty of life
Orchards barren and crazed deserts are
Where once the land was rich and fair
Seems our world new and all the others imperfect
On which we struggle to make our lives
Are the only future made
As perfect golden Earth to late to save
A world once bestowed with paradise's grace
Oh Blossom it has been squandered by human race.
