Feeling flow as feelings might
Through words set down in sight
Little wonders thought should show
In the lines which flow
From the musings and confusings
Or the poet often refusing
To dam his thoughts or feelings raw
Leaves wide open heart's door
Even when thinly disguised in metaphor
The feelings felt were felt before
In everyone feelings run
Build up until rationality overcome
Ruled by head or heart they seek
Oh feelings tide no place for meek
The raw abrasion of every moment
Relentless fight against every comment
Up or down or sideways turn
With tornado power feelings burn
And out upon the page I drive
These feeling raw which I strive
To myself some greater understanding commit
For if your feelings you do not admit
What are you and where
For without feelings there is no care.
