Five W's with which world explore

These W's with which to plot a life
To discover those in life or prose
Begins to contain the entire world
Sets in path the motions of
Our life discoveries deep and true
Though sometimes what you may find
Is not what you would have true
Mistakes made due to hubris
A conscience allowed to drift
Allow all manner of rationalisations
As foundations of your world to exist
The dark lanes you would not go where
The questions what you do not ask
Why's hanging unquestioned in the air
Stapled to such harsh -isms
You dare not gather them to your thoughts
A who to ask is so difficult
When is your own mirrored face
Staring back belligerently in silence
As for when there are times
You wish had never been at all
Turn face of time away to face the wall
The five W's of truth and knowledge
Weapons to wield in discovery of world
To be put aside when you decide
To explore yourself a while
For at such times weapons blunted use
So at night you can sleep
Unskewered by the 5 W's you know.
