Here between sky and sea
Halfway through a day of life
Sun illuminates all good done
And casts shadows over other things done
The straightness of back as yet unbent
Eyes are keen and memory clear
Blindness awaits and ability to forget
The closing rhymes in concrete set
A date you cannot yet ascertain
When dusk on day of life wane
The full progression have been reached
And into deep dark sleep you shall slip.
