Teenage query

** teenage query
Hearing all the loud fury
Of the angst in teenage query
As to why the world is as it is
And every adult fails the quiz
To explain how history reached this moment
Sliced to ribbons by teenage comment
What did we do to make this world better
How could we settle unfettered
By concerns or woe as we know
Our lives will in this world flow
With all the problems accumulated
Yet still life we unburdened celebrated
What empty heroes are we
Feet of lead and cast hollow
Why should these greater forms follow
The flawed and tired beings we have become
No more endeavouring to world overcome
We have instead to succumbed to world
Fallen at this hurdle
As we know they shall in time also fall
For now they know it all
For now their energy may bring some change
And their change will also bring some pain
But always we in discovered wisdom found
This as been the way since world did first turn around.
