Keeping cold at bay

*** Keeping cold at bay ***
How cold are our days
Gloves we need to warm hands
Made numb and almost painful
By Winter's bite and claw
Or perhaps another way
Do not leave your bed
Find another body warm
Dally there instead
Wait till after noon
Before your bed exit
Refreshed and rejoiced
Warmed by skin and touch
Lifted to some Summer realm
Where Winter's touch is not found
A place of kisses long and dear
Of passions raw and fierce
This land you call your bed
With this person molten hot
Who keeps the cold at bay.
