Sea above

The sea of sky above
A heavy swell today
Reefs of blue overwhelmed
Sense rolling waters overhead
A storm to come crashing down
We below await this sea
Canopy of filtered light
All is insipid dusk
Shadows cling close to heels
Or do not exist at all
Wrapped and bound in heavy clothes
We brutal conquers of this Earth
Await the sea of sky to fall.
