Heated warring tones
The air raid sirens drone
We are at war
A feeling commonplace
How quickly we adjusted
To deaths likely among us
Greater East or Greater West
Forget whose side we are on
Non-alignment impossible
Invited attacks from both sides
So we chose a bed to sleep in
One as friend to our breast bring
Another as foe we spurned
Now we fight the good fight
The honourable and true
Or so history written will record
