after fallen down

after fallen down

 * after fallen down *
These scars should not be present
Is normal abrasions of relationships
The heart is a robust organ
Can conquer all they say
Love which so vast inflates
Provides such music and strength
When removed an abyss formed
And as if in the removing
All seams holding self together
Were also carelessly ripped asunder
The pain exists through all seen and done
Memories taunt and play rough justice
Serve up love's truths as delusions
Shredded before this chill cold wind
Which blows round me through me
And all dimensions of who I am
All the possible outcomes of faith
Only remain as faultlines raw
Scars on scars on wounds still sore
Into darkness turned seems forever more
When relationship fallen down
And all the heavens and all this Earth
Totally proven to be unsound.
