Sunflower mornings

Sunflower mornings

 * sunflower mornings *
I am trying to turn my body so
A sunflower to the Sun is all
Winter morn and all is chill
Except for ray of Rah above
My body seeks this warmth to love

Turning as a pig on a spit
My clothes insufficient to this chill remove
The Sun upon my shoulders and face
A kiss it seems of Nature's grace
My body seeks this warmth to love

A chilly tundra of a winter
Waiting for the break of Summer
Hovering between cold and warm
Turn my body to Sun to adore
My body seeks this warmth to love

Cold long months of Winter bite
Another cold morn and freezing night
Ice upon coldscreens thick
Seeking the Sun to break this lock
My body seeks this warmth to love

Roll over in the early morn
So warm and snug beneath eiderdown
Outside the world is cold and dark
See your smile a burning spark
My body seeks this warmth to love.
