We all have our stories true
Where they start speaks of you
Do you ignore the days of sorrow
Days did not earn had to borrow
Focus primarily on days of success
Such joys you almost forgot rest
Where does your story start
What beginning at what part
When you were young and knew no better
When education completed and first employment letter
How do you measure your life's achievements
Will you be truthful or deceiving
Mislead the reader with bias facts
Omit a relationship delete some acts
Where will your odyssey start
From which port on which ark
Warrior or philosopher presented
On what manner of being will you be commented
Describe yourself in grandiose words extreme
Or simple words succinct and clean
Describe your place in the world
Or how around you world curled
The story told must hold the reader
Make of them a firm believer
So where you begin is the important part
All that follows confirms that start.
