Alternative energy growing
Cutting back our demands
For the resources finite
Which we once burned without a care

Catch the essence fresh
Delight upon the air
Poverty can be retracted
For all the world we can care
Lift the suffering of our fellows
Bring light into darkness
Remove the shuttered views
Of medievalism in our midst
This is not driven by fear
By terror of the blind
Only through fairmindedness
Kindness not weakness expressed
Can we escape the cycle
Of useless and worthlessness.
