The colours bright and flashing
Spring's foliage and blooms repeated
In the garments worn by human populace
In cities of concrete steel and glass
As if the spirit of Spring bursting
Has infected all those who breath
A carnival of colour proclaimed
An escape from mourning clothes of Winter
We all breath alive and free
Resurrected from grave gray Winter
For now the world is blooming brightly
And so in unison and accompaniment are we.
