Walls of decisions made
Doors formed from actions taken
A mansion of our own design
Lodestone around our neck
Of maintenance rates and upkeep needed
To spin our life nimbly as if a plate upon a stick
Takes all the gravity we can manage
There is no escaping what we have built
Where we go so goes our building
As inexorably partnered as bricks and mortar
Or thoughts and actions performed
And the inevitable consequences which follow.
