Sun bright sun light
Scores windows clean
Turn mud to solid ground
Drains marshy Winter puddles
Gives us lift and sets dreams
In warmth and tranquillity
Bees fly and buzz
Birds in excitement flutter
A sense of Spring
Rebirth is the occasion
Waking from the dark
As days stretch longer saving us
From depths of grey tyranny.
