Brittle in extreme
A thousand beams blinding
Rushing at speed of life
Short and long spectrum
Different angles taken
Seen through prism of Time
Our follies etched on glass
Dreams reflected better
In mirror of our own self
Those glancing rays
So quickly lost
Each splinter of light
A line of life
How swiftly passes.
