ILO wobblies

+ whence the "wobblies" now +
These pinnacles bland
Corduroy browns and beige hat stands
A Dali-istic absurdity
as far as a melting eye can see
This is the New World careers
No post war boom for us
No constant growth matrix
Instead left field endeavors
Instant profits made
by exporting industries offshore
The wealth of generations sold
Social contract broken
A job for life became
A job till knife falls
Loped off for economic rationalism
No explanations how
Government will tax future profits
When all the profits off shore
And we are a retail mecca
Selling other countries goods
And our children squabble
For the opportunity
To wait on foreign millionaires
Using our unindustrialized shores
For vacation time.
