Dressed Wrong +

 + dressed wrong +
The things we know
Definition of seasons
Northen hemisphere sensibilities coated
In our southern skies
The stars lie differently
Our seasons flow in opposition
To those of north
Yet still we cling
To expectations northern
Our winters are not heavy but mild
Summers harsh and unforgiving
Spring and autumn often seem
To be the same thing
Gum trees do not shed
Wattles in constant blossom
And city streets of urbanized south
Are always black.
