When kisses cease

@@ When kisses cease @@

Out in the woodlands
Between each tree's circular stand
The clearings so small
In which dappled light drips
Flowing around tree trunks
Surging past leaves
Escaping branches grasp
A sea of light flowing
Honeyed wash for growth
Walking and thinking
Sounds only heard
Of twigs under feet
Rustle of leaves
Bird calls hidden drift
Down from full canopy
In sylvan setting benign
Wondering if world
Beyond these trees exist
Questioning yourself
Of whom you are
Away from hard city
Released from the race
Upward mobility ambitious
Set now on hold
Breeze against face
Free caress of Nature
Reality found to be more
Than email and memo
Blackberry discarded
Greatest escape ever planned
Away from society
The bills taxes and fees
Breath in the air
Lungfuls of joy
Enslaved no longer
Released from cubicle cage
Unbound from the sticky wage
Free to be who you would
Freed and free to do good
Or nothing or do all
Away from city streets and noise
In the woodlands quiet
Where wildlife burrows
Discover time to release yourself
From all woes or heartfelt sorrow.
