Sleep drags me down
Dream of depths aqua
Slivered sunlight lazy
Voices in a park
Barking of a dog
Blackbird chorus close
Wingbeat of a bee
These I hear as slip
Deeper dreaming down
Sleep drags me down
Behind my eyes flash
Fish of light constructed
By leaves above me parting
Allowing sunbeams uninterrupted
Strike my eyelids hiding
Vessels of my soul
Sleep drags me down

Abdicate time and place
To dry dock of nothingness
Thoughts and body tip
Dragged down to sleep
